  1. Twonky License Key

QNAP Stephane has released a new version of Twonky. The registration key is now added to an online. Activation of end user license keys now requires a Lynx. Just installed the Lenovo EMC Storage Manager w/ Twonky for my IX2-DL on my new Y50 computer. Twonky's asking me for a serial key. I have 4 IX2-DL units; Twonky installed fine on my desktop, but it's asking for a key on my new notebook.

This release was created for you, eager to use Twonky Server full and with without limitations. Our intentions are not to harm Twonky software company but to give the possibility to those who can not pay for any piece of software out there.

This should be your intention too, as a user, to fully evaluate Twonky Server without restrictions and then decide. If you are keeping the software and want to use it longer than its trial time, we strongly encourage you purchasing the license key from Twonky official website. Our releases are to prove that we can! Nothing can stop us, we keep fighting for freedom despite all the difficulties we face each day. Last but not less important is your own contribution to our cause. You should consider to submit your own serial numbers or share other files with the community just as someone else helped you with Twonky Server serial number. Sharing is caring and that is the only way to keep our scene, our community alive.

After having my beloved Hi-Fi with Majik DS in storage for several months while moving house, ive now come to re-installing my hi-fi setup in my new abode. Trouble is its now saying that the twonky trial version is expired, and i now have to pay for the license - which i dont mind - but as i have got a sieve-like-memory i cant remember where or which or what to do. Could someone point me in the right direction please:- Do i need to go to twonkyvision.de, or twonkymedia.com, or twonkymedia.com or somehwre else?? Do i need to download twonky media manager or twonky media server or just a license key from somewhere else??

What a damn hassle - If it wasnt for the fact that Linn's DS's are so superb, i'd probably throw it away and get a CD player Thanks for any forth-coming help. On the top of the page is an icon for the online shop (second one from the right). Ok, so ive gone online (im at work) and bought the license key, but i could only see the key for ver 5 - will it automatically work if i have ver 4?? Cant tell at the mo, as im at work. How do i enter it into twonky?? Do i have to do it via the web address: 192.8.15(or whatever it is)?? Thanks for your help, everyone.

Linn Akurate DS - Naim Nait XS & Hi-Cap - Tellurium Q Cables - PMC GB1i Speakers. Rusty, Yes just go to your config pages for twonky - something like but the numbers may vary dependant on your setup. On one of these pages you will see a place to enter your shiny new licence number and then click SAVE button - once accepted the input box disappears hence I cant remember exactly which page it is on! The 5 licence also works with 4 which is what I am currently running. Is there some method or way to find out exactly where it is?? If you forget the numbers, what are people supposed to do?? Thanks again.

Linn Akurate DS - Naim Nait XS & Hi-Cap - Tellurium Q Cables - PMC GB1i Speakers. Hi Rusty, Do you know the IP address to access your router? In my case I type into my web browser. If you dont know a quick google of the router make and model should tell you - or even your manual!

You will probably have to login with a password (manuals will tell you the default if you havent changed it) but you should then have access to the setup pages of your router. One of these pages will list the attached devices - one of which will be the NAS on which Twonky runs - it should tell you the IP address you need.

As I explained earlier type this address into your browser with:9000/config with your fingers crossed! When you have accessed twonky add it as a favourite in your browser to save you having to remember the number. I am sure some of the other guys on the forum will jump in with a much simpler way of finding the number.
